The doctors Teresa Sevilla, researcher of the Neurology Department of the Hospital Universitari i Politècnic La Fe, and Carmen Espinós, CIBERER researcher, explained the TREAT-CMT project and the status of research on Charcot-Marie Tooth (CMT) in the 11th Medical Seminar on Current Situation of Rare Diseases organized by ASEM CV in Valencia last June 1. In this act, which intervened Dr. Teresa Jaijo, participating also in TREAT-CMT, genetic diagnosis of neuromuscular diseases were discussed, therapeutic strategies in myotonic dystrophy and clinical trials in muscular dystrophies.
